Open Day: Data Science & Society
Join us on 30 January at the Open Day in Groningen to discover whether Data Science & Society is the right fit for you.
About the programme
In Data Science & Society you go beyond coding and data analysis: you learn what data really means. That way, you see the whole picture.
You combine technology with ethics and law, so you don’t just understand AI, you can also think along about what’s right for society.
You work on projects about algorithms, misinformation and privacy & data protection, building skills that are in high demand.
Open Day
Choose the time that suits you best: sessions last one hour and take place between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
During the session, lecturers will introduce the programme, the courses you’ll take, and what you can expect to learn.
You’ll also discover how this degree prepares you for your future career and the opportunities it can lead to.

Throughout the day, you’re welcome to visit our information stand in the Energy Academy at Zernike Campus in Groningen.

Couldn’t make it in January? No worries, we’re hosting the same Student for a Day again in April.

Get a feel for what it’s like to study the programme from anywhere in the world. You'll join a short trial class, hear first-hand experiences from current students and get a virtual campus tour.
