Ronald Holzhacker UEF Professor by special appointment

Ronald Holzhacker becomes UEF Professor by special appointment for the chair of ‘Comparative Multi-Level Governance and Regional Structure’ at the Faculty of Spatial Sciences. This was announced during the conference ‘Governance and Sustainable Society in South East Asia’ at the Rijksmuseum on November 19th, 2015 where Holzhacker presented his book Decentralization and Governance in Indonesia. Ronald Holzhacker is founder of the SInGA (Spirit Indonesia Groningen) research group that focuses on governance and sustainable society. The group currently consists of nine doctoral students from Indonesia, with a grant from the World Bank, the Indonesian Ministry of Finance and the Dutch NUFFIC program. The chair is sponsored by Unilever Indonesia and Shell Indonesia.
