More than 100 UG alumni live in and around Washington DC. Curious where they work? The University of Groningen (UG) would like to invite alumni to the workplace of one of them. Dr. Peter Teuben, astronomer at the University of Maryland Observatory, kindly arranged a tour and a presentation for fellow alumni.
The tour will take place on Thursday January 5th, 19:45h-21:45h at the UMD Observatory in Washington DC. Follow a special presentation by Dr. Peter Teuben on the history of Dutch Astronomy and catch up with other alumni at the same time. Please find the event details below and make sure to RSVP through Eventbrite via the green registration button before the Christmas holidays (December 23rd).
The UMD Observatory is located on Metzerott Road between Adelphi Road and University Blvd in College Park, Maryland.
