Consul General and president of the RUG alumni chapter Hong Kong Wilfred Mohr, invites all RUG alumni in Hong Kong to a special University of Groningen alumni reception on June 19th.
Endangers waders in the Bohai Bay
Hong Kong alumni decided to support the RUG PhD research of Ying-Chi Chan financially. Under the guidance of Spinoza Prize winner prof.dr. Theunis Piersma, Chan studies the migration of endangered waders between Northeast Asia and Australia and their adaption to man-made changes in the environment. The RUG is grateful that Hong Kong alumni help make Ying-Chi Chan's research possible. Ten kind supporters so far!
Ying-Chi Chan will attend this evening to meet her supporters and she will share the exciting developments of her research.
