‘Typical for studying Theology in Groningen are the trips abroad. During a trip to Egypt, Israel and Jordan, the subject matter came to life spectacularly. I have an especially fond memory of the time we woke up at 2 a.m. to climb the Jebel Musa, the mountain in the Sinai desert where Moses is said to have been handed the Ten Commandments.’

Dr. Mladen Popović, Acting Director of the Qumran Institute, MA (2001) and PhD (2006) in Theology @UniversityofGroningen #UGCommonGround #UGalumni #tbt

Popović wants to offer young, talented scientists in this field the chance to join him in his research.
