New Board Ubbo Emmius Fund

16 October 2020

The Ubbo Emmius Fund (UEF) of the University of Groningen actively supports research- and education projects. The board consists of alumni and friends who are committed to the university’ s future. On 15 October 2020 we elected a new UEF board. The former General Board (18 members) and the Executive Board (4 members) merged into one board of 5 members. This structure is in line with day-to-day practices and also with the governance structure of charities. All members volunteer their time and expertise to the UEF.

The new board consists of:
Eddie Perdok, chairman (Business Administration, 1988) - CEO Kramp Groep BV
Stef Kranendijk (Economics, 1977) - director of Wisarts Investments BV
Gert van der Leest (Economics, 1984) - partner PwC Netherlands
Mariëtte Plaggemars (notarial law, 1993) - notary at Damsté
Jouke de Vries - Chairman of the Executive Board of the University of Groningen

The members of the former AB and DB will stay connected with the university in the role of ambassador and think tank. The University and the UEF is truly grateful and appreciative for their support.
