Lense Koopmans deceased

02 November 2015

This weekend we received the sad news that former UEF board member and alumnus Lense Koopmans passed away on October 30th. In 1996, he became closely involved with the establishment of the Ubbo Emmius Fund and he was a member of the board until the end of 2013.

We are very grateful for the way Lense Koopmans shared his vision and network and for the way he contributed to the development and growth of the UEF.

Lense Koopmans (law 1965, PhD 1968) was, among other things, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Rabobank, professor at the Erasmus University and the University of Groningen and a founder of the Republican Society.
