A great mix of meeting old friends and making new one, sharing knowledge and getting updates from the University of Groningen. This time our Zurich alumni committee, with the president Rosa Visscher, organised an alumni meeting at the Balgrist University Campus on 28 October. UG alumnus dr. Jaap Swanenburg welcomed UG alumni to his office and showcased his research at the clinic.
This time 20 UG alumni from different backgrounds had a conversation with dr. Jaap Swanenburg, and took a tour around the medical campus. While dr. Swanenburg gave insights into interdisciplinary spinal research, there was enough time to connect and talk about their current jobs and life in Zurich.
Of course, there was a lot more to talk about. Anticipating to the enthusiasm of alumni, Rosa Visscher already booked a table at a close by restaurant, where they enjoyed a tasty meal together.
