Reunion

‘During those years we established the basis of our relationship. Since 1985 we have an annual reunion. We live across the Netherlands and once a year we meet at the home of one of us. During these weekends we all sleep together in the living room and talk all night. We follow each other's lives: friends, marriage, children, relationships that break up, new relationships, careers, family troubles and so on. These weekends are a sounding board and a source of inspiration. We are all around fifty by now. Last year we faced a great loss. One of us passed away. Suddenly. She became ill and a few weeks later, she was gone. Recently we had our 26th reunion. Eight of us this time. For better or worse.’
