U4 sustainability meeting Uppsala

14 June 2017

From the 31st of May until the 1st of June, a staff member from the Green Office, Green University and a PhD candidate from the UG went to Uppsala. Together with partners from the U4, we discussed how we can make our universities more sustainable and how we can learn from each other through (best) practices. We talked about how we can reduce the CO2 footprint of our universities, how sustainability can be integrated within research and education and how we can stimulate students and staff members to become more sustainable. As a result of earlier meetings, Göttingen has set up a sustainability office this year! We have learned a lot from each other and will meet again end of 2017 or beginning 2018 in Göttingen.
