Spring has just arrived, which means it’s time for the annual spring cleaning. Get that vacuum cleaner out of your closet, dust your fancy apron off and throw those windows open for a change. Once you’re done you can join us outside, where we’re cleaning up the neighbourhood!
From the 3rd to the 21st of April, the Municipality of Groningen organises ‘LenteKriebels’. These days are all about collectively cleaning up garbage and plastics from the streets. You can sign up with a group of neighbours or friends to clean up a neighbourhood in the city. Each year, hundreds of volunteers participate and the Green Office has decided to lend a helping hand! We’ll be working on making the north-west segment of the city spic and span. Want to participate? Here’s what you need to know:
When? Thursday the 19th of April
What time? During lunch break, between 12 and 13 o’clock
Where? AMD (Visserstraat 49)
What do you need to bring? Nothing! All of the gear/requirements will be arranged for by the Municipality of Groningen.
