Free pumpkins Aletta Jacobshal

14 November 2017

After the success of the last pimply pumpkins event we decided to expand the event by handing out even more pumpkins. This time our cargo bike, filled with pumpkins, was located in front of the Aletta Jacobshal during the exam week. In total we saved almost a thousand pumpkins from being destroyed!

In total 125.000 pumpkins got damaged by hail and were transformed into pimply pumpkins. But don't judge a book by it's cover, there is nothing wrong with the taste. We decided to save these pumpkins and provide students and staff members with free vitamins. In the week of 6 - 11 November UG students and staff members could get a free pumpkin at the Aletta Jacobshal.
