Throwback: educational walk Stadspark

14 June 2017

Marin Leus from the blog ‘Groene Avonturen’ gave two educational tours through the Stadspark for the Green Office. On the 24th and 31st of May around thirteen participants accompanied Marin for two hours for a walk through the Stadspark while she was informing them about edible plants and herbs they encountered. The question: “How can you recognize certain plants and herbs and what can you use them for?” was the main focus throughout the tour. Not unimportant: you cannot not always and infinitely take herbs and plants from nature. Some plants are protected and it is important to not disturb the environment. We were surprised by what the Stadspark had to offer! We learned many new things about the Stadspark and the plants growing there. We thought it was a great success!
