Researchers are increasingly encouraged to make sure that their research findings do not only reach the scientific community but are also disseminated among the public. However, this is not always as easy as it sounds.
Perhaps you have a good idea but find it difficult to come up with the right format? Or maybe you would like to be inspired on how to "pitch" your research to the public. The Young Academy Groningen now provides a stage to get tips and tricks for your pitch. At our next Early Career Research Lunch on the 24th of April, experts from the Scholierenakademie will present tools to pitch your research in a few minutes, to a varied audience, using different formats.
Because the YAG also wants to give you the unique opportunity to get experienced in public engagement we offer you the possibility to take part in a Noorderzon event. More information will be provided during the ECR lunch (and you can subscribe for this separately if you are interested).
Participation and lunch is free but registration is required.
