Symposium: Fundamentals of Life in the Universe

On 31 August and 1 September the 'Fundamentals of Life in the Universe' symposium will take place in the Energy Academy Europe. Among the speakers are Nobel prize winner Ben Feringa and Stan Gielen (NWO).
During the symposium a respectable number of speakers will take the floor. Additionally, Ben Feringa, Louise Vet (NIOO/KNAW) and Rens Waters (NWO-SRON) will inaugurate the Origins Center. The Origins Center was granted a € 2,5 million subsidy by NWO earlier this summer. On 1 September NWO's chairman Stan Gielen will address the future of the NWA (National Science Agenda).
