Which secrets can a church reveal?
Recently, Justin Kroesen was elected the University of Groningen Lecturer of the Year. He swayed the jury with a mini lecture on the educational aspects of Protestant church interiors, an area Kroesen is well versed in as a renowned expert on historical church interiors. According to him there is much more to be seen and learnt in a church than you would suppose. In addition to yielding information on spiritual matters, churches also have something to say about the administration, economics and society of old.
The weekly online video magazine Unifocus highlights topics related to the University of Groningen in the fields of research and society, student life, teaching, policy and internationalization.
