Influential Books Stoner

18 September 2013

Stoner by John Williams certainly fits the category of ‘Influential Books’. Barend van Heusden, professor of Culture and Cognition, will give a public lecture on just what is behind the unprecedented popularity of this book in the Netherlands, nearly fifty years after it was first published. The lecture on Stoner is part of the lecture series being organized by the Faculty of Arts on Influential Books, the 20th edition of which is taking place in academic year 2013-2014.

The weekly online video magazine Unifocus highlights topics related to the University of Groningen in the fields of research and society, student life, teaching, policy and internationalization.
