Filming ultrarapid dynamics in molecules

Early in his career as a scientist, Geert Reitsma has already produced exceptional results. Three years of PhD research have yielded ten articles in renowned journals. His most recent measurements made with the soft X-ray free-electron laser FLASH in Hamburg are remarkable. He was the first in the world to conduct an experiment using isolated biomolecules.
