‘Hidden’ data now available to everyone
The University of Groningen Geo Services supports researchers by making geographical data accessible and visually attractive, and presenting it in an understandable way. Geo Services has just launched a new website, opendata.rug.nl, with all kinds of data that people usually cannot access quickly. To start with, themes or data that are often very popular but difficult to find will be selected. Users can view the data on a map and/or in a diagram and also download it. They can also create a URL from a screenshot.
