Image selection and Image Store

Anyone can view and download royalty-free photos (photos that are not subject to copyright) from the University of Groningen’s Image Store. Faculties and service units can also build up their own collections of visual material in the Image Store. Photographs of your own faculty or service unit can be accessed using a ‘generic account’. You can obtain further details of this account from the image coordinator of the faculty or service unit in question.

Faculty and service unit image coordinators

Each faculty and service unit has two to three image coordinators, who are authorized to upload and manage images in the Image Store for their own faculty or service unit. In addition, they are the point of contact for questions from members of staff at their own faculty or service unit.

Agreements need to be made with the photographer when using photos that are subject to copyright.

Image Store management

The Communication Office is responsible for managing the Image Store. Please feel free to ask them any questions that you have or to make suggestions!
