Purple Friday 2023
On Friday, 8 December, the university will turn purple! Purple Friday is a day when schools in the Netherlands turn purple to show that no one should be bullied or excluded because of who they are.
By wearing purple on Friday 8 December, we can show that everyone is accepted at the UG, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression. By doing this we draw attention to our LGBTQIA+ community, and the diversity that enriches our university and society. We ask everyone who endorses this to dress in purple that day.
