UG at Noorderzon 2026

This summer, the RUG and the UMCG are again present at Noorderzon. Join discussions with scientists and attend interesting lectures.

Noorderzon “Festival of Performing Arts & Society” is one of the biggest festivals in the city of Groningen. This year, the festival takes place from 20 to 30 August.

No Dutch? No problem!

Programme for non-Dutchies

Noorderzon is for everyone. Even if you don't speak a word of Dutch. The festivals has curated a broad and diverse selection of performances and events that are either spoken in English, subtitled in English, or where language plays little to no role at all. There’s plenty to explore without needing to understand Dutch.
