University elections results 2025
The votes have been counted and the results of the University elections are in!
Elections were held for the UG University Council, Faculty Councils and Employee Councils. More than 500 candidates stood for election and again campaigned vigorously. This shows that many students and staff are once again ready to shape the participation next year.
Turnout
For almost all councils, the turnout rate was higher than in 2024 (students) and 2023 (employees). Among students, 8379 out of 31.745 students cast a vote for the University Council. A turnout of 26,4% (24,1% in 2024). Among employees, 3707 out of 8812 employees cast a vote for the University Council. A turnout of 42,1% (38,3% in 2023).
