We are pleased to share with you the celebrations for the upcoming opening week of the Feringa Building.
Open House - Saturday, June 14, 2025
You and your families are warmly invited to explore the Feringa Building during our Open House.
This informal event offers a special chance for you to discover the building, explore its facilities, and learn about the exciting work taking place inside, while allowing us to welcome you personally. Anyone is welcome, whether related to the university or not.
No registration is required for the Open House - just come along and enjoy the
afternoon!

Official opening 17 June and live stream
The official opening of the Feringa Building will take place on 17 June for invitees only. It will be a day to connect, reflect, and look ahead, as we welcome distinguished guests, leading scientists, and forward-thinking colleagues to mark a new chapter for Science and Engineering at the University of Groningen.
The programme of the event has been shared with all the invitees. Those that are interested can follow the opening through the live stream:
