The city is silting up. We live, work and relax in the city and residents want everything within easy reach, as quickly as possible. Can this be sustained? What are the solutions to the problems posed by all the vans, flash drivers and fast ebikes? In this episode of the video series Voorkennis, Paul Buijs talks about The Flash City with two other scientists.

As citizens, it is increasingly difficult to keep up with the lightning-fast developments in the world, while innovations and developments have a great impact on our lives. In the new online video series Voorkennis (in Dutch) by the Universiteit van Nederland and NTR Wetenschap, different researchers talk about a particular subject. Scientists are always working on solutions that are part of current affairs but have not (yet) made the news. Science already has answers to questions that are yet to be asked.
