UG alumni evening in Nieuwspoort The Hague well attended

A well-attended alumni evening was held in Nieuwspoort on Wednesday, 4 October 2023. The theme of the evening was democracy. Renske Leijten, UG alumna and member of the Parliament from 2006 to 2023, shared her experiences as a representative of the people. Also, Jouke de Vries, president of the Board of the University, gave a speech on the future of democracy. UG alumna Floor Bremer, RTL Nieuws political reporter, was tasked with leading the discussion. De Vries' speech can be read below:
