Board of the University lays wreath in memory of staff and students killed in WWII
Rector magnificus Cisca Wijmenga laid a wreath at the Academy Building on 4 May on behalf of the Board of the University together with Secretary General of the University. The wreath is in memory of UG employees and students who died during the Second World War.
Student representatives of various parties in the University Council were also present at the ceremony. In addition, several relatives and others involved came to the Academy Building. After the wreath laying, they all went inside for the memorial ceremony.
