Lisa Herzog appointed as new dean of the Faculty of Philosophy
The board of the Faculty of Philosophy is thrilled to announce the appointment of Lisa Herzog as the new dean of the faculty starting January 2023. Lisa is a professor of Political Philosophy in the department of Ethics, Social and Political Philosophy (ESPF) and director of the Center for Philosophy, Politics and Economics. She is a member of the De Jonge Akademie and Young Academy Groningen.
Lisa Herzog: I look forward to working in this new role, together with the other board members and all members of our faculty. Our faculty is known for its high quality of research and teaching, its commitment to both fundamental research and applied and interdisciplinary work, and its constructive and friendly atmosphere. I want to contribute to building on these strengths and also to our interactions with the wider community of the RUG and beyond.
