Results of the 2016 University Elections

Here are the results of the 2016 University elections. Elections were held for the student members of the University Council and Faculty Councils of the University of Groningen. From 1 September 2016, the distribution of seats for student parties on the University Council is as follows:

  • 5 seats to Lijst Calimero
  • 6 seats to SOG
  • 1 seat to the Lijst Student Erkend

The turnout for the University Council elections was 27,9%.

The elections for student members of the University Council and the various Faculty Councils within the University of Groningen were held in the period between Tuesday 18 and Tuesday 24 May 2016, and the results were finalized by the Central Voting Office on 25 May 2016.
