Research

SCOPE’s collaborative research helps to strengthen educational activities aimed at improving students’ personal development. SCOPE is therefore a breeding ground for knowledge and expertise in the field of personal development.

Our pedagogical approach

Recently, we have published a paper in Medical Teacher describing our evidence-informed pedagogical approach to support professional identity formation in medical students. The paper can be read here.

Also, we published one of our workshops as a paper including the materials needed for teaching this workshop yourself. You can find these materials in MedEdPortal.

Research on the Systemic Constellation Method

SCOPE’s educational activities focus on broadening horizons, seeing the bigger picture and facilitate an embodied experience. One of the methods we use to achieve this in our education is the systemic constellation method. This method fits very well with the experience-based learning of SCOPE and has been successfully implemented in our education in recent years. Read more on our page.
