Can I participate in selection procedure more than once?
Candidates can only participate in the selection procedure for the degree programme in Medicine or Dentistry in Groningen once.
When you are registered in Studielink for the degree programme in Groningen on 15 January, this counts as participation even if you later decide not to participate.
An exception can be made for those candidates that fail their final high school exams in the year they participate in the selection procedure (regardless of their performance in the selection). The exception can only be made if these candidates ask for (and get granted) a correction of their selection attempt before the first of September.

More information on the exams Physics, Mathematics, Biology and Maths (CCVX; for candidates with a deficiency) can be found on the website of CCVX We also accept certificates from the Boswell Beta Instituut.

The International Service Desk (ISD) provides information to non-EU students. -
Do I have to be physically present during the selection day?
Yes, we expect from all our candidates, Dutch and international, that they come to Groningen to make the selection test.

When is the deadline for application?
You have to apply via Studielink between the 1st of October 2023 and the 15th of January 2024 for study year 2024-2025.
International students need a DigiD code to log in to Studielink. It takes several days to process the request for a DigiD code.

Which date will you send the prepatory assignments?
You will receive instructions by email on the 16th of January, 2024.
It is possible that the email ends up in your spam or junk folder. Remember to check your those too.

Can I make the selection tests online?
Unfortunately, you cannot make the tests online.
