What is the MIT Service Desk?
IM-MIT provides ICT support to UMCG employees with a P-number and students of Medical Sciences, Human Movement Sciences and Dentistry programs with questions and problems related to ICT.
What assistance does the MIT Service Desk offer?
The support includes a wide range of activities:
* Support and troubleshooting of ICT-related products and services;
* Assistance with problems with applications and peripherals;
* Processing applications and installation of new computer equipment;
* Assistance with PC use;
* Communication in the event of ICT malfunctions;
* Answering questions about the range of services offered;
* Referrals for questions about ICT services from other providers.
How the MIT Service Desk works
The MIT Service Desk is available during office hours from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM by phone at (361) 2345 or via the UMCG intranet.
For problems that cannot be resolved by the MIT Service Desk, a support ticket will be created for Onsite IV Management.
