UCG and GLOCOMNET form partnership

23 December 2015

It is with great pleasure that we announce that UCG will start a partnership with GLOCOMNET BV, a platform with the purpose of enhancing the interest in and addressing questions in the field of social complexity and uncertainty. GLOCOMNET is initiated by prof. Lex Hoogduin, professor in Groningen and Amsterdam a.o. and widely respected for his  knowledge and understanding of the complexity of financial markets. He is also the initiator of the first MOOC of UG and a regular contributor to the UCG programme with guest lectures for example. GLOCOMNET and UCG share the fundamental interest in interdisciplinarity and the challenges of social complexity. It is a shared belief that both organisations can benefit from this cooperation and make each other stronger by teaming up. Moreover, this collaboration opens a wide range of possibilities, including joint conference organising, internships and collaborative projects for both our students and staff. Monitor our website for more news on this partnership.
