Convocation Ceremony
The University College Groningen Convocation Ceremony was held on Thursday, September 8th.
Our students and staff were present to celebrate the opening of the Academic Year 2016-2017, with special attention for our newly arrived students: the Class of 2019. During the Convocation Ceremony they signed their Code of Honour, which is tradition here at University College Groningen. Our dean, prof. Hans van Ees, opened with his welcome speech, and we were also joined by prof. Lex Hoogduin who gave a short speech. The Caerus chairman Danial Lissborg talked about the UCG student life and narrated the signing of the Code of Honour.
If you missed it, you can watch the Convocation Ceremony here.
