Research interests

My research is currently focused on the causes and consequences of sex differences in parental roles – a topic that I investigate through phylogenetic comparative methods and theoretical modelling.

On 17 May 2022, I successfully defended my thesis: The evolution of parental sex roles, at the University of Groningen.
