Work experience

03/2020-present: PhD candidate, Faculty of Arts, University of Groningen, Curious Hands in Educational Workshops. Identifying distinct patterns in teaching and learning making in the art academy.

09/2021-present: Teacher Art History and Art Theory at Minerva Art Academy, Groningen. Department: Docentopleiding Beeldende Kunst en Vormgeving.

2019 - present: Member, SYB Circles, Writers program, Kunsthuis Syb, Beetsterzwaag In SYB Circles, young artists and academics are encouraged to experiment with all types of media to reflect on SYB’s residents and their projects. Their ideas and reflections will be expressed through podcasts, dialogues, talks or live events. In doing so, SYB aims to investigate the role that different (new) media can play in the field of art criticism.

12/2018-11/2019: Project assistant, Institute of Education, University Medical Center Groningen Organize return day (terugkomdag) for medical students (master), design workshop/courses and research the way in which the visual arts can be implemented in medical curricula.

09/2018-08/2019: Researcher, Research Group Art & Sustainability, Minerva Art Academy, Hanze University of Applied Sciences Research within “Art, Making, and Materials” on material literacy inquiring the relation between art, material and processes of making to get an insight into how the workshop specialists pass on tacit knowledge about materials and techniques to the students.
