Expertise
As a physician-scientist, my long-term research interests involve the optimization of human donor livers prior to transplantation by using machine perfusion. My goal is to apply this technology to address the scarcity of available donor organs by increasing the number of suitable donor livers for transplantation, thereby ultimately reducing waiting list mortality.
