Field/Discipline
Expertise
Consumer behavior, economic psychology, environmental psychology, social marketing
I study consumer behaviour through the lens of economic and social psychology, examining how consumers' lay understandings of economic concepts—such as zero-sum thinking and beliefs about economic conditions—shape their decision-making in marketing contexts, particularly sustainability and green consumption. I also examine the cognitive dispositions that shape consumer judgement and behaviour in adjacent domains, including how patience predicts health behaviours such as vaccination uptake, and how consumers respond to information shocks in public health crises.
