Chronische nierziekte in beeld

“Nierziekte in Beeld” aims to establish a sustainable data infrastructure by mapping and assessing whether existing data sources—such as NIVEL, academic primary care research networks, Statistics Netherlands (CBS), Nefrodata, NOTR, Lifelines, Dutch Hospital Data, and the Netherlands Cohort Consortium—can be linked and harmonised to estimate the burden of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and to evaluate key indicators of care in the Netherlands.

SEE-CKD: A factShEEt on the burden Of Chronic Kidney Disease in the Netherlands

This project aims to estimate chronic kidney disease burden for the first ‘factsheet’ on chronic kidney disease burden in the Netherlands.

The ultimate ambition of the project is to also set up a sustainable system for systemic documentation, expansion and dissemination of the chronic kidney disease burden in the Netherlands to aid in improving awareness and monitoring of chronic kidney disease burden in the Netherlands.
