prof. dr. P.M. (Philip) Kluin
Philip Kluin is professor in Pathology and specialized in Haematopathology. He was head of the department of Pathology and Medical Biology untill 2010 and will retire in May 2016. He is a consultant not only in the greater region of Groningen, but also at a national level. His research focuses on the molecular biology and classification of B cell lymphomas. At the (inter)national level he participates in courses, contribution to book chapters and the WHO classification, and was until 2014 member of the International Lymphoma study Group. He is active in the implementation of digital pathology in consultation. Currently, he is active in the Dutch Society of Pathology as member of the board, chairman of the commission on professional practice and quality assurance, and member of several other related committees.
