dr. O.R. (Rees) Williams

I started my research career as a High Energy Physicist. However, after completing my PhD I moved to the related field of  but High Energy Astronomy. Over the next 25 years I acquired experience in processing and analysing large data volumes, mainly from space projects. Between 1996 and 2009 I was director of the small high-tech company Praesepe. Now I work on applying my experience to the multi-disciplinary Target project. I'm also the manager of the Euclid Science data Centre in the Netherlands, which I expect to increasingly dominate my life for the next 10 years.

My main research interests are the X-ray and gamma-ray emssion from quasars, although I've also done some work on Gamma-ray Bursts.
