dr. M.M. (Marc) Kramer

Marc Kramer (1970) received his PhD in 2012 on a dissertation titled "Individual Investor Behavior and Financial Advice". He studied business economics at the RUG which he finished in 1996, after which he worked as an investment consultant at the Rabobank for a couple of years. During this period he received his CFA/RBA degree from the postgraduate financial analyst program at the VU University of Amsterdam. Currently he is involved in bachelor courses in (Behavioural) Corporate Finance and a master course in Behavioral Finance. His research domain is individual investor behavior. In 2018 Marc was elected as the Lecturer of the year of the Faculty of Economics & Business, while in 2019 he was elected as  Lecturer of the year of the University of Groningen. He holds both the UTQ (University Teaching Qualification) as the STQ (Senior Teaching Qualification). Since 2022, Marc is Program Director of the BSc Economics & Businesss Economics [BSc E&BE].
