M.I. (Mirjam) Frey, Dr
Short Biography
Dr. Mirjam Frey studied Psychology at the University of Salzburg, Austria, and University of Tuebingen, Germany. After graduating, she started her PhD training at Tuebingen University under the mentorship of Profs. Hans-Christop Nürk and Korbinian Möller. She obtained a PhD Scholarship funded by the Ministry of Science, Research and Arts of Baden-Württemberg, Germany and was a PhD student member of the LEAD Graduate School of the German Excellence Initiative, and finished her PhD in 2017.
Next to that, she worked in a psychosomatic clinic in inpatient-treatment from 2013-2020 and obtained a qualification in systemic therapy. In 2020, she moved to the Netherlands to take on the position as a lecturer at the Clinical Psychology & Experimental Psychopathology group of the Heymans Institute for Psychological Research at the University of Groningen.
