Research interests

Lisa’s background is scientific illustration and graphic design. She’s currently doing an interdisciplinary PhD between art and natural sciences in the Conservation Ecology Group of the University of Groningen. She studies the effectiveness of a variety of visual communication tools in specific conservation ecology subjects. Her current project utilizes rewilding with European bison as a case study and ecological basis for her ongoing science communication research.
