Research interests

Assistant Professor of Governance and Innovation; Coordinator Climate Adaptation Governance Track (MSc Cultural Geography, University of Groningen), Member of the Young Academy Groningen

My research focuses on the role of digital technologies in climate adaptation and finance. I am interested in societal transformations to sustainability, urban studies, political ecology and human geography, as well as in participatory futures research and decolonial thought. Currently, I investigate the impact of digital innovations (blockchain, DLT, citizen platforms, AI) on democracy and sustainability.
