Expertise
Trained as a political scientist, I research the politics, policies, and governance models driving sustainability transitions in the agri-food sector. My work is grounded in a critical policy approach, integrating discourse analysis, political process tracing, and actor-network analysis. With expertise in both the EU and China, I bring a comparative perspective to the study of transition governance. While my qualitative research has primarily followed conventional methods—including semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis—I am increasingly drawn to participatory approaches, engaging with citizens in their community-led initiatives.
