prof. mr. J.P. (Jan Paul) Franx

Jan Paul Franx has been appointed special professor of securities law as per 1 October 2017, three days after defending his PhD thesis Prospectus Liability in Tort and Contract at Erasmus University Rotterdam. He has worked for a period of 25 years with law firm NautaDutilh in corporate, capital markets and litigation matters. He is combining his chair with a lawyer's practice with law firm FG Lawyers in Amsterdam, of which he is one of the founders, specialising in corporate and financial law.
