Dr. Joshua J. Little is a Research Fellow at the Department of Jewish, Christian, and Islamic Origins at the University of Groningen. He received an MPhil in Islamic Studies & History and a DPhil in Asian & Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Oxford. His research focuses on the origins, transmission, and regionality of Hadith; early Sunni Hadith scholarship; modern methods of Hadith analysis; and the formation of the Quran.
