dr. J.A.C. (Jos) Bokhorst

Jos Bokhorst is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Operations at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Groningen, The Netherlands. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Groningen in 2005. He teaches a number of courses in Production/Operations Management in the master programme Technology and Operations Management and in the bachelor programme Business Administration. His main research areas are Production Planning and Control, Lean Manufacturing, Smart manufacturing, Dual Resource Constrained Systems, cross-training, labor assignment and workforce agility. He has published in, among others, IIE Transactions, International Journal of Production Research, International Journal of Production Economics, Production Planning & Control, Interfaces, Flexible Services and Manufacturing and Computers & Industrial Engineering.
