I.M.E. (Irene) Douwes-van Ark

I train university teachers (e.g. for their University Teaching Qualification) and give workshops about course design and active learning. Together with my team, we also train other practicioners who are involved in the training of university teachers. My main expertise lies in the theoretical frameworks of academic professional development and effective evaluation of teaching practices.
